ROMANTICA CASA CON TERRAZZO IN PUGLIA

Inside an independent building in the historic town of Castellaneta is this typical Apulian house, furnished with traditional furniture and typical colourful ceramics.
In the heart of the Terra delle Gravine and just a few km from the sea of Castellaneta Marina you can discover Puglia with its culinary tradition its churches and its miles of fine white sandy beaches that make it so famous now all over the world.

The Space
The house is a typical Apulian townhouse that is spread over two floors with deep internal stairs that provide access to the various levels.
Once you arrive in front of the main door you will have to climb the first stairs that will allow you to reach the second floor where the kitchen and the bedroom are located.
You will be immediately struck by the prevalence of earth colours and the MEDITERRANEAN STYLE that accompanies the whole mood of the house, studied in every detail from the furniture to the fabrics used, all MADE IN PUGLIA.
The result is a mix between some modern elements and many elements of the Apulian peasant tradition such as the "VUZZ", the "Paniere", the "Damigina" the sieves used to select the flour, with which to prepare the famous orecchiette and the Apulian ceramics.
The kitchen consists of a kitchenette furnished with a two-burner stove, toaster, microwave, refrigerator with a small freezer, table and two chairs.
The bedroom, accessed directly from the living area, is furnished with a king-size double bed, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a coat rack.
The bedroom, too, represents a dip in Apulian tradition and craftsmanship, from the wall-mounted Luminaria with the colours of light blue and beige (which is a typical light used in village festivals), to the oval mirror, original from the early 20th century, to the wicker chair, and last but not least the paintings with typical old-fashioned embroidery inside.

Access for guests
Guests will have access to the entire house and everything in it including the TERRACE.

Other things to keep in mind
THE BATHROOM IS LOCATED ALONG THE INTERNAL STAIRCASE THAT LEADS FROM THE SECOND FLOOR TO THE TERRACE. THE ACCESS TO THE BATHROOM IS A BIT INCONVENIENT AS IT IS DIRECT ON THE STAIRS, SO WE ASK FOR CAUTION.

THE TERRACE HAS A PARAPET BUT OVERLOOKING IS PROHIBITED
CHILDREN MAY BE ON THE TERRACE ONLY IF ACCOMPANIED
